Talks

Talks is a series of written interviews with artists who exhibit at Brodac and with the Contemporary Bosnia platform. The starting point is not the finished work but what comes before it: the place an artist comes from and the place they live in now, family, work, the fears and habits of a particular time.

The questions are deliberately simple, and the answers stay in the speaker's own voice. Rather than an analysis of an oeuvre, each conversation is a portrait — a record of how someone looks at the world before translating it into a picture.
