"The Fourth Summer" is a collective exhibition of four contemporary Bosnian artists — Nardina Zubanović, Muhamed Baručija, Bojan Stojčić, and Dženan Hadžihasanović — presenting individual works through performative actions and art talks at Brodac Gallery, 19–22 August, with the collective exhibition open 23 August – 19 September 2019.
BIO — Nardina Zubanović, born 1987 in Sarajevo. In 2018 she graduated with a Master's degree at the Fine Art Academy, University of Sarajevo, sculpture department. In her artistic work she uses a variety of media, from sculpture to spatial interventions, installation, performance, photography and video. She has a specific interest in in-situ art, location, space, and identity in relation to the current place or situation. In 2009 she established the non-formal cultural organization Kolektiv Kreaktiva. She has participated in and curated solo and group exhibitions and workshops in the region and worldwide, in collaboration with institutions such as the History Museum of B&H ("WALL", 2015), National Gallery of B&H (Sara Art Fair 2015), Kino Bosna ("Bahanalije" 2014, "Second Space" 2014), Centre La Culture, Land Art colony Festival Javorwood (Bjelašnica 2016), Factory of Memories (2015), Actopolis – CRVENA (2016), Street Art Festival (Mostar 2016), ZVRK (2017). Her work has been shown at MIZA Gallery in Tirana, Diocletian's Palace in Split (performance Europtus, 2016), ART center BANG / Collection 10m2 Quebec (2013), Stockholm Art Fair (2017), WomEmpower' Festival (Berlin 2018). Her works are part of the collections of Contemporary Art Center Duplex/10m2, Contemporary Gallery Brodac, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports in Sarajevo, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in L'Aquila (Italy). Lives and works in Sarajevo.
