"The Fourth Summer" is a collective exhibition of four contemporary Bosnian artists — Nardina Zubanović, Muhamed Baručija, Bojan Stojčić, and Dženan Hadžihasanović — open 23 August – 19 September 2019, with performative actions and art talks 19–22 August.
BIO — Dženan Hadžihasanović was born in Sarajevo in 1987. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Painting, University of Sarajevo, and from the Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts. He is actively engaged in the conservation and restoration of wall painting, and has worked on 15 buildings in BiH of exceptional cultural-historical significance, such as Sarajevo City Hall, the Ferhadija mosque in Sarajevo and Banja Luka, the Jewish cemetery in Sarajevo, Atik Behram-beg's mosque in Tuzla, Ferhat Pasha mosque in Banja Luka, Varoš mosque in Travnik, and Svrzo's house in Sarajevo. He has exhibited internationally — "Blank Title" at Prometeo Gallery di Ida Pisani in Milan; Espace TILT in Renens and Kunstraum Walcheturm in Zurich, Switzerland; Collegium Artisticum and Zvono Gallery in Sarajevo; Schlachthaus Theater in Bern; Alcatraz Halain Gallery in Austria; and a collateral event at the 56th Venice Biennale. In 2017 he won The Asolo Rotary Club Award for Young Artists. He is a member of ULUPUBiH and the Association of Artists in B&H, and is represented by Prometeo Gallery di Ida Pisani.
