Assuming that the ground impacts filled with red paint are flowers, then potentially the impacts on the walls are also, so any hole, interstice in the city is likely to bloom, to hatch. Since I first came to Sarajevo this has never stopped questioning me. If these traces on the ground are flowers, then what is making a flower? What defines the motif? Until my brain, my eyes, are able to see a flower? Is it enough of a colour, a shape? Sarajevo then becomes for me like a hallucinated vision of a vertical and horizontal field of flowers, overloaded with flowers, crumbling under the weight of its memory.
