BIO — Muhamed Baručija connects work as an exceptional landscape architect and as an excellent graffiti writer. He brings together surroundings which at first sight are often understood to be opposed to one another: the urban fabric and the natural environment. His works are created both in urban areas and in boundaries between the city and the natural suburb. These "places of uncertainty" seem perfect playgrounds for his creations. Muhamed works and lives in Sarajevo, a place which through its mere geographical position is very much defined by the duality between nature and city; his work emphasizes this contrast but also the connectedness of the two. Many of the works have a strong bond with the graffiti world and graffiti lifestyle.
